Many many years ago (1992) I played a game called Historyline 1914-1918. It was a hexagon games based on the great war (Thats WW1 for you young people out there). I spent many hours playing it and recently I came to think that I wanted todo a new version, an updated version, a 2013 version. I first had this thought years ago but I always had other games to work on, but now where I left the gaming-buisness the thought have re-emerged. Now I know what you are all thinking, that I am not done with gaming, and that I have regretted my decision, and you know what, you are right. But as a grown-up, what you want and what you can do is not always the same thing, but that’s a topic for another post.
So how to approach a remake, well I am going todo it the “old-fashioned” way, by writing an analysis, simply because I want to see how it works. Yes I know it may not be very scrumish, but being an one man army I simply do not have the time to mess around with my programming. I need to focus my efforts, but before that I need to focus my mind. I have worked in many places and tried many methods and thinking before programming is the way to go. Besides it fits perfectly to a blog.
